The perfect city.Walking down the main street of an afternoon.Walking the dog!
Brewy, ever suave. The last part of the outer Arena wall still standing. The outside of the Arena.
The council chambers.Laura at the Arena entrance. The seating at the Arena.
From the ground. One of the internal alleyways. It's such a fantastic structure - hard to believe it's still in such good condition.
Brewy and Laura - this photo is actually a record of the furthest distance these two clowns were from each other over the entire weekend! (I joke, kids.)From the top of the Arena you can see right up to the castles on the hills. You can see straight down on of the alleys in the photo too.You can see our shadows on the building opposite!
Brewy trying to figure out how to use his camera.Cyclists in the street.More castles in the hills.
Laura: Most photographed person in both hemispheres.Ben and Jack.Walking under the Arena.
The view from the top of Torre dei Lamberti. From the tower, looking back towards the hills.A view of Piazza delle Erbe, cafes and shops on both sides. Middle of picture you can see the Fountain of Madonna.
Looking over to one of the bridges over the Adige river.Brewy, high in the sky.A far more accurate representation of our weekend together!
Slow motion in the square.Sunset over Verona.Apparently this is St Peter's Hill.
Ben with the river and St. Peter's hill in the background. The running river.Brewy walking towards the coffee.
Halfway across the bridge.Looking out on the other side of the bridge. This is a pretty spectacular place.Flowers on the window sill.
Us!Sheep on the side of the hill - you can actually see some houses in the background.View from the top of "Castel San Pietro" back over Verona.
Looking across over the hills.Inside the Castlevecchio museum, one of the many sculptures.Intricate designs.
Ben and Laura looking out to the Castlevecchio courtyard. The shadows from one side of the walls projecting on to the other.Rooms full of religious imagery.
Closeup of one of the walls.A very old lady.Paintings on the wall.
Ben and Laura inside.A view of the bridge from one of the castle windows. The side of the bridge.
Verona water fountain at night.Arena nighttime - few people walking through the shot.Piazza Bra. This is the only photo that made it online from Monday, after Sunday night's absinthe episode. The camera just happened to be on the ground when this shot was taken!
